"Smart Health Solutions to Combat Environmental Toxins"
Feeling tired, experiencing memory loss, or sensing a heaviness in your body? The culprit might be environmental toxins. These byproducts of industrialization disrupt the endocrine system once inside the body, making it nearly impossible to avoid them entirely. So, how can these toxins be addressed?
Dr. Intaek Lee, after years of research, has stepped into the development of health supplements. Drawing from his world-class experience at Yale University and ShanghaiTech University, he founded Anathapindika Health last year and launched the Super Health 3-Series this year.
Within just six months of its release, the product line has garnered positive feedback through word-of-mouth and recently won the 2024 Korea Value Management Award, officially supported by Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy & Ministry of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) and Startups of South Korean government, recognizing its innovation. KTN met with Dr. Lee to discuss his journey in tackling environmental toxins.
Dr. Intaek Lee
Before founding his company, Dr. Lee was deeply immersed in research. For about eight years, he worked as a basic science researcher in cell biology and biochemistry at Yale School of Medicine and Washington University School of Medicine.
Later on, at ShanghaiTech University, he established “Nanoscale Cell Biology” lab with 2013 Nobel laureate in Physiology or Medicine, Dr. James E. Rothman and spent another eight years as a co-research director.
The COVID-19 pandemic became a turning point for him, igniting a desire to go beyond foundational research and make a practical impact on people's health. This aspiration led to the founding of Anathapindika Health.
Anathapindika Health
The name "Anathapindika" means "one who aids the old, sick, and poor." When launching the company, Dr. Lee chose this name to reflect his commitment to helping and sharing.
Anathapindika Health aims to protect people from environmental toxins and pollution, improving health to support a happy and balanced life. It focuses on developing, producing, and selling health supplements that specialize in removing environmental toxins and chronic inflammation.
What Are Environmental Toxins?
Environmental toxins are harmful chemicals such as microplastics, dioxins, and pesticides/herbicides that emerge from industrialization. When these toxins accumulate in the body, they can lead to severe diseases like cancer, dementia, and infertility. Although the body has natural detoxification mechanisms, the speed at which toxins accumulate often outpaces these processes.
The Super Health 3-Series supports the liver in expelling toxins quickly by removing bottlenecks, regulates immunity, and reduces chronic inflammation to improve overall health.
Super Health 3-Series
The Super Health 3-Series consists of three products, each with distinct benefits:
- Super System Booster: Optimizes estrogen metabolism and helps remove environmental toxins like microplastics and herbicides, using compounds derived from broccoli.
- Super Brain Health: Alleviates "brain fog," sharpens clarity, prevents brain aging, and contributes to dementia prevention.
- Super Immune Support: Promotes the elimination of heavy metals, reduces inflammation, and enhances immunity while also addressing metabolic syndrome.
These products are designed to work synergistically and taking them together for 2–3 months can maximize health improvement and anti-aging effects.
